NCSBI Explosives, IED's and Boobytrap Awareness for K9 Handlers 

NCSBI will be hosting this class August 5th -6th,  2025

Registration, lodging and meals for this class are free to SWORN NC Law enforcement Officers.   (Federal and out of state LE officers who choose to stay on-site will pay a $50 per night fee.) 

Students will receive awareness-level training on explosives, IEDs,
boobytraps and blast injuries. The course includes lecture-based
learning, explosive demonstrations, a practical boobytrap exercise
and the opportunity to work explosive detection canines on a variety
of commercial, military and homemade explosives.
