USPCA Therapy Certification/ AKC Temperament Certification 

Community Resource K-9 is collaborating with the USPCA - Region 15,  the AKC and the Gloucester Twp. Police Department to present a comprehensive three day program designed for law enforcement personnel and other first responders who serve as crisis canine handlers,  facility dog handlers,  or who participate in supportive community roles with canine partners. 

*  Training is designed to meet and exceed national standards 

*  Training will include classroom and practical training, applied assessments, and certification testing. 

DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS June 1nd,  2025 

REGISTRATION/TRAINING FEE is $600. 

Canine Handlers meeting the USPCA and AKC standards will be eligible for the following certifications. (USPCA membership required for USPCA testing) 

*AKC CGC Certification                                * AKC CGCA Certification                      *AKC CGCU Certification 

*USPCA Therapy Certification                     *AKC Temperament Testing 

Teams will have the opportunity to participate in the following training sessions and assessments as well:     

* Public Access Assessment                       * TSA/ Airplane Assessment
