USPCA Region 2 Spring Detector Dog Trials 

The US Dept of Energy - Savannah River Site LE Dept , the Aiken Co. Sheriff's Office and the Aiken DPS are proud to be hosting the 2023 Spring Detector Dog Certification Trials. 

Dates are February 23rd through the 25th.  Tentative Schedule is shown below.

Fees are as follows:    Narcotics -  $25.00                Explosives - $25.00             No tracking to be offered at this event 

Hotel:   Holiday Inn Express -   Room Rate $109.76 per night,  taxes included.   Reservations must be made by February 8th, 2023 to guarantee this rate. Please make sure to tell them that you are attending the USPCA Canine Trials when you make the reservations.  No pet fee will be charged to any rooms book within the 2023 Canine Trials Group Block.

                                  5:00 pm – 9:00 pm      Detection Team Registration at Hotel (lobby)

February 24, 2023    7:30 am – 09:30 am    Explosive Dog Training – Odor Recognition Test

                                 10:00 am – 12:00 pm   Explosive Dog Certification – Odor Recognition Test & Parcels

                                1:00 pm – 4:00 pm      Explosive Dog Certification – Vehicles & Building

                                8:00 am – 2:00 pm      Joint Narcotics Dog Training

                                5:00 pm – 7:00 pm      Narcotics Detector Dog Team Registration at Hotel (lobby)  

February 25, 2023   8:00 am – 3:00 pm      Narcotics Detector Dog Certification (Building & Vehicles)
